Fillings

We work with two types of filling at The Sweet Cake Collection.

Chocolate Ganache

Chocolate Ganache is a heavenly combination of chocolate and pure cream. Additional flavourings can be added, for example peppermint or hazlenut. This is the filling used for fondant designs as it sets up nice and firm for a smooth finish under the fondant.

Swiss Meringue Buttercream

Swiss Meringue Buttercream is a meringue based buttercream. It's not super sweet or gritty like some buttercreams you may have had before. Think smooth, silky deliciousness. This is the preferred filling for semi naked, smooth or textured buttercream designs.
